Code of Conduct

We want everyone who is participating in the 2026 Australian Junior Chess Championship to have a great experience. We’d like your help to achieve this.

Be kind, considerate and respectful of other players, parents, volunteers, officials and spectators. Treat others as you would like them to treat you. Organisers take our responsibility to provide a safe, supportive environment seriously and will not tolerate any offensive, racist, sexist, aggressive or violent behaviour. We reserve our right to issue warnings, remove people from the venue, or disqualify people from the championship should we decide it is necessary to preserve a supportive environment.

If you have any concerns at any time please immediately inform an organiser or arbiter about your concern so we can help.
