Grandmaster Simultaneous Exhibition

Australia’s highest rated chess player and former Australian Junior Chess Champion GM Anton Smirnov will play a simultaneous exhibition match against 30 lucky players at the beautiful National Portrait Gallery.

If you would like the opportunity to play GM Anton Smirnov, please register your interest below. We will select 30 lucky players to participate in the event.

Spectators are most welcome and the gallery will be open during the event if you’d like to combine your appreciation of chess with an appreciation of art.
